MONOLITH Alpha #15
Yesterday, I mentioned that my ocean of art was at low tide. Well now it’s back up at high tide. 🌊 Not sure if my message encouraged more people to send in submissions or if it was just the natural flow things, but either way happy to see more art in my inbox.
When I first started MONOLITH Alpha, photography was the majority of the submissions, but today that was not the case. I had mostly illustration, 3D and animation, which was a nice change. I’m really glad that such a diversity of art forms is finding its way to me. I also noticed a few that were photographers trying out new art forms and directions in their art practice, which I also like since it shows that this newsletter is safe place to submit new work that will be seen for what it is and not what might have been assumed.
One small housekeeping note. When you submit please remember to include a link to the edition (yes, only editions still) and also a link to your Twitter profile would be really helpful. Thank you. 🙏
