MONOLITH Alpha #13
Curation is sometimes at odds with inclusion, since you need to respect the “flow state” when selecting pieces. There were some great submissions this week that just didn’t fit in with what the set was “calling” me to do. Sometimes the rivers shapes the land, sometimes the land shapes the rivers, but either way, you need to let nature take its course.
For those who submitted and have not seen their pieces included, you should feel free to submit again. But it’s going to be a bit like Goldilocks and her porridge, don’t submit your art too often or too seldom, it should be somewhere in the middle, where it feels just right.
I got a couple submissions from Ivona Tau’s “Post-Photography Glimpses” that is dropping tomorrow (11/24/2023 9AM EST / 6AM PST) on Nifty Gateway, so I thought I’d link to the entire collection, but also highlight two pieces.
